Originating from Kingston, Jamaica, Jah Tiff used her culture and deep-rooted heritage to cultivate her love of formulating poems. Jah Tiff created her first poem at 14 years of age entitled, I AM A GIRL, a brief introduction to who she was at the time. Growing up in the rural parts of Jamaica, Tiffany was inspired by artists like Bob Marley, JC Lodge, Sizzla, Capleton, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey. By 16 years of age, Tiffany began performing on stage at her high school and Christmas talent shows, which inspired her to perform at open mics in the United States.
Over time Tiffany continued to use her personal relationships to fuel her creativity. Jah Tiff tapped into her love of music when she began dating a Jamaican entertainer, as an overall creative, it was inevitable for Tiff to explore becoming a musician. Jah Tiff would listen to writing and studio sessions to form her own identity, by the age of 18, Tiff was writing her own music.
As Jah Tiff approached 24 years old, her relationship stumbled upon shaky grounds, inspiring her first debut single, BELIEVE. Jah displayed her sultry sound for the first time to the world, opening the doors of opportunity and growth. Throughout her career Jah Tiff is looking to inspire people who have been in similar experiences, and give them strength to fight their own circumstances
